Designed specifically for use with modern E-Bikes, the M8260 XT Di2 derailleur connects directly to the main battery of your E-Bike ridding the need to charge and remember a separate derailleur battery.
Designed to work with all 12 speed Hyperglide drivetrains, the mech is built around Shimano's new ES architecture. Super low profile with a build in skid plate and angled B-knucke, the system in designed to skim past or shrug off the kind of blow that might damage an older mech. It also replaces the conventional clutch mechanism with a stacked double spring design so that chain retention becomes maintenance free and won't degrade over time.
Like all Di2 mechs, shifter performance is both 100% accurate and super fast and when combined with most major motor systems, both free and auto shift functions can be engaged.

Do I need anything else along with this mech?
This is just the derailleur, so it does not include either the shift switch, or the cable to connect it to your motors high power port as that cable varies by motor system.
Can I fit this to any E-Bike?
Your motor will need to have a compatible output power port. Bosch, Shimano and Avinox are all fine. You'll also need a regular derailleur hanger in place on your bike.
What cassettes does this work with?
All Shimano 12 speed cassettes are fine. This is the longer cage version of the mech, so it can handle the full 10T -51T range of the largest cassettes.
Can I add a battery to this to use it with a regular MTB?
You can't, this version is wired only. There is a different battery powered Di2 mech for use with regular mountain bikes.
