Amflow PX Carbon MX - 2027
In stock with supplier, ships within 3-5 days.
Perhaps the most disruptive brand and bikes to hit mountain biking in decades, Amflow arrived with a bang a few years ago and have gone from strength to strength ever since completely re-defining what people have come to expect from an E-Bike. Now into their second generation of bikes, the 150mm travel PX is their newest and most advanced model yet, which thanks to a super light 2.4kg carbon frame and the most energy dense integrated battery on the market weighs an incredibly light 20.6kg stock with 700W of charge on board.
Like all Amflow bikes, motor power comes from the benchmark Avinox M2S, which pumps out a whopping max 120Nm of torque and 1300W of continuous power, with even more available from the 30 second Boost mode. Despite all the power the motor only weighs 2.6kg and is packed into a small form factor, keeping a clean look to the bike. Fully user tuneable via a simple app, it can deliver anything from long range low power rides to super fast power hours or the ability to ride up previously impossible climbs. For those looking to ride truly massive days, the supplied 12A fast charger will push 80% charge back in just over an hour meaning minimal downtime between rides.
When it comes to geometry, the PX has a whole load of adjustment baked in letting it cover many bases. A default reach of 478mm, head angle of 64.2 and wheelbase of 1259 mm on a Large are all sensible modern numbers but the scope to change them is massive. BB can be dropped by an extra 12mm via one flip chip, and the chain stays can swap between 438mm and 451mm via another. The bike also comes with an +1/-1 angleset headset opening up further opportunities to create everything from an upright and comfy tourer to a super low and slack trail rocketship.
Integration is another areas where Amflow have pushed things forward. With the bikes able to track rides, link to your GPS or action camera, set their assistance based on heart rate and handle gear changes while coasting, the system functionality is unmatched in the marketplace right now.
You might think that all that tech would result in a massive price tag, but you would be wrong. The PX is not just one of the most advanced bikes on the market, but also fully competitive on price.
